Thee SL3™ Quick Change System from NSI Solutions® is designed for multiple uses; Top Polishing, Flat Edge Polishing, General Grinding/Polishing, Radius Edge Prepping and for use with the Seam Phantom.
The adapter is balanced to minimize vibration. The locking system has a single attachment method, thus once a pad has been used it attaches the same way.
Cup Wheels: 2" Cup Wheel, primarily for use with the Seam Phantom, for Step 1 undercut. 3” Cup Wheel introduced in 2015 for general aggressive material removal. Can be used with the Seam Phantom for grinding back a laminated edge.
SL3 Rigid Turbos: Original Abrasive designed for use with the Seam Phantom (60/150/300 grit). Also used by many as part of their Top Polish process. See Video and Instruction Sheet for more information.
SL3 Floating Turbos: Velcro Backed with center hub to keep turbo centered. Color coded laminate backing keep abrasive rigid for entire life of pad yielding consistent flat polish results. Velcro backing enables "float" for smooth operation and shorter learning curve. Lower replacement costs. Same abrasives as the Rigid Turbos.
